Google NFC-based Mobile Payment Mode; Coming Soon!

A recent development in the tech sphere suggests that the search giant Google is joining hands with MasterCard and  Citigroup to empower Android devices so that users can make purchases using their smartphones. It will make you just wave your Android-powered smartphone at the counter to pay for your purchases. Interesting, right?

The idea, once implemented, will turn your smartphone into an electronic wallet. The Near Field Communication (NFC) technology will be used in the implementation of this payment method. Major card reader manufactures are already supporting this technology. Google’s Android smartphones already features Near Field Communication technology.

However, the search giant’s intention is not only to make things easier for the people. The move is seen as an attempt from Google to boost their advertising business too. Probably, the purchasing system will allow Google to share more data regarding the users with the retailers.

Retailers can use this information to target customers with discount offers and specific advertisements. However, it is not yet clear if Google will get a share of the transaction fee.

When developed into a full fledged system, the model will allow users to activate a mobile-payment application in their Android phone, by way of which they will make the purchases. Probably, the service will be available only to those who hold Citigroup debit or credit cards.

Though there are wide-spread apprehensions about the security of such payment methods and the financial risks related to it, experts brush such worries aside. According to them NFC is a sophisticated technology and it is difficult to steal financial data this way.

2-गृहछिद्र यानी घर की फूट - घर या परिवार का आपसी कलह उजागर होना परिवार के साथ हर सदस्य को व्यक्तिगत, व्यावहारिक और सामाजिक स्तर पर नुकसान का कारण बनता है।

3-मंत्र - शास्त्रों के मुताबिक गुरु हो या इष्ट मंत्र, इनको गुप्त रखने पर ही इनकी शक्तियों का लाभ मिलता है।

The Smallest Laser in the World Created by US Researchers

The latest invention of American researchers is the laser that claims to be the smallest in the world. They managed to develop the laser by squeezing light into a space that is even tinier than a protein molecule. Their latest invention could be a significant breakthrough in the field of optical technology, making one step closer to nanolasers, which can be used to investigate and manipulate DNA. In addition, the laser can lead to the creation of super-fast computers and improved telecommunications.
The team of researchers was led by Professor Xiang Zhang. He mentioned that the plasmon laser constricts light into a gap that is only 5nm wide. An important step was the ability to detain light in a small space for a specific period of time required for light to stabilize into a "coherent" laser state, having all of its waves synchronized.
It is worth mentioning that plasmons are in fact wave-like movements of excited electrons on the surfaces of different metals. By connecting light to these oscillations, scientists managed to compress it further than usually, reports The Telegraph. Professor Zhang, from the University of California at Berkeley said: "Plasmon lasers represent an exciting class of coherent light sources capable of extremely small confinement. This work can bridge the worlds of electronics and optics at truly molecular length scales." Their latest invention was described in the online version of the journal Nature. The scientist who co-authored the research, Dr Thomas Zentgraf, from the University's Nanoscale Science and Engineering Centre, stated: "The advantages of optics over electronics are multifold. For example, devices will be more power efficient at the same time they offer increased speed or bandwidth."

हवा से लेजर लाइट बीम निकालने में सफलता

वाशिंगटन.अमेरिकी साइंसदानों ने एक ऐसी नई लेजर सेंसिंग तकनीक विकसित करने का दावा किया है जो कहीं पर भी छिपाए गए बम या अन्य विस्फोटक खोज निकालेगी। यह तकनीक विकसित करने वाले विश्वविद्यालय के वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि उन्होंने हवा से लेजर लाइट बीम निकालने में सफलता पाई है। इससे हवा में मौजूद प्रदूषण को भी मापने में मदद मिलेगी।

प्रिंसटन के मैकेनिकल व एयरोस्पेस इंजीनियरिंग के प्रोफैसर व वैज्ञानिक रिचर्ड माइल्स ने बताया कि वो जो लेजर पल्स हवा में मारते हैं उसी की पल्स वापस धरती पर आती है। वापस आई बीम हवा में तैर रहे अणुओं से मिलकर उनका फिंगरप्रिंट तैयार कर देती है। ये फिंगरप्रिंट उस चीज के भी हो सकते हैं जो छिपाई गई है। इससे पहले के लेजर सेंसिंग टैक्नीक में वापस आ रही बीम जा रही लेजर का सिर्फ प्रतिबिंब प्रदर्शित करती थी।

नई टैक्नीक वाली लेजर में लगे सेंसर हवा में मौजूद कणों से ही पता लगा लेंगे कि आसपास कहीं बम छिपाया गया है। हवा में मौजूद ऑक्सीजन के अणु हॉट-स्पॉट वाली जगह ज्यादा सक्रिय हो जाते हैं जिससे किसी चीज के दबाए या छिपाने का पता चलता है

Microsoft Milan Surface Computer Playtable: computing table

Some big news from Microsoft yesterday on a new computer called the Microsoft Milan Surface Computer (or Playtable) which is basically a computing table.

Then you add to that some amazing technology and this is one of the best products I have seen from Microsoft in many years, just look at the photos (IT LOOKS AMAZING) and I am not just saying that because I love technology and gadgets.

With all new computers and phones the designers are talking computer interaction and touch (just look at the iPhone), this is the first product from Microsoft’s Surface Computing group (a tabletop computer code-named Milan).

30-inch horizontal display and 22 inches high, this acrylic table is very similar to a table top Pacman game my dad had years ago but obviously not with the technology that’s in the Milan Playtable.

So for us lesser earning people, the cool Microsoft Milan coffee table will just be in the photos…

सिर दर्द करता है? यह उपाय करें...

 

                                                                      सिर दर्द एक आम समस्या है, अधिकांश लोगों को इससे                         जुझना पड़ता है। सामान्यत: ऐसा माना जाता है कि यह बीमारी शारीरिक अस्वस्थता की वजह से होती है। ज्योतिष शास्त्र के अनुसार ग्रह दोष की वजह से भी सिर दर्द सताता है।

सिर दर्द की बीमारी कई लोगों को जन्म से ही होता है। अधिकतर लोगों का आधासीसी की बीमारी भी होती है। आधासीसी की बीमारी में सुबह चार बजे से सिर दर्द शुरु होता है वह भी आधे सिर में जो शाम चार बजे तक रहता है।

कई लोगों को आंखों की कमजोरी की वजह से सिर दर्द होता है। आंखों का सिरदर्द  से बड़ा संबंध है। बचपन में जो लोग सूर्य की ओर देखते हैं, वह आधासीसी रोग से पीडि़त होते हैं। सूर्य को देखने आंखों की रेटिना कमजोर हो जाती है। जिसकी वजह से अंधेपन तक का खतरा रहता है तथा सिरदर्द की बीमारी के प्रथम लक्षण होते है।

ज्योतिष शास्त्र के अनुसार भी सूर्य को नेत्र कमजोर होने का कारण माना गया है। सूर्य यदि लग्र में द्वितीय या द्वादश भाव में स्थित हो तो व्यक्ति की आंखें कमजोर होती हैं तथा वह सिरदर्द की बीमारी की वजह बनती है। लग्र अथवा प्रथम भाव में सूर्य नीच का तुला राशि में शत्रु राशि में स्थित हो तो सिरदर्द का कष्ट होता है। एकादश भाव में सूर्य उच्च का या द्वादश, लग्र, द्वितीय भाव में उच्च का हो तो ज्यादा मानसिक तनाव से व्यक्ति सिरदर्द का शिकार होता है।

कैसे बचे सिरदर्द से?

- आदित्यहृदय स्तोत्र का पाठ करें।

- प्रात: सूर्य नमस्कार कर गायत्री मंत्र का जाप करें।

- प्रात: शाम जलनेती करें।

- सूर्य को न देखें।

- शनिवार को पीपल का पूजन करें।

- सूर्य को अर्ध्य देते समय अपनी दाहिनी एड़ी ऊपर रखें।
